2020 | Fair Pay, Pay Transparency, Prior Salary

This bill prohibits employers from relying on a prospective employee's prior salary history and requires employers to provide a wage range for the position upon request.

This bill bans all Maryland employers from seeking or relying on salary history, unless voluntarily provided by the applicant. It also requires employers to provide a job applicant the salary range for a position upon request.
