Prevents the sexual harassment and sexual assault of certain isolated workers through training and other requirements in specific industries.

This law extends protections against all forms of harassment to contractors, consultants, and others who are contracted to directly perform services fo the employer. It also provides that as of January 1, 2020, all Illinois employers are required to provide sexual harassment prevention training to their employees every year, regardless of the size of the company. Finally, as of July 1, 2020, it requires hotel, motel, retail, property service contractors, and security guard entities to adopt a sexual harassment policy; provide mandatory sexual harassment prevention training to managers, supervisors, and employees; provide a resource list to workers; and provide a panic button to each worker. The law also requires property service contractors to report compliance with the state.
