This law requires employers to provide earned sick time to employees for the purpose of addressing the physiological, phyiscal, or legal effects of domestic violence. Employers with 11 or more employees shall provide 1 hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked, and employers with 1-10 employees shall provide 1 hour of unpaid leave for every 30 hours worked. Documentation will be only be required if the absence exceeds 24 consecutively scheduled work hours.
