Clarified the dates by which specified employers must provide sexual harassment prevention trainings to employees and supervisors pursuant to SB 1343 (passed in 2018).

SB 1343 (2018), required employers of 5 or more employees to provide at least 2 hours of classroom or other effective interactive training and education regarding sexual harassment to all supervisory employees and at least 1 hour of classroom or other effective interactive training and education regarding sexual harassment to all nonsupervisory employees in California by certain specified dates and every 2 years thereafter. SB 778 provides that the above-described training and education must be provided by January 1, 2021, and thereafter once every 2 years. SB 778 also specifies that new nonsupervisory employees be provided the training within 6 months of hire and new supervisory employees to be provided the training within 6 months of the assumption of a supervisory position
