This law requires employers to provide leave to survivors of domestic violence for reasons associated with that status.

This law requires employers to provide 20 days unpaid leave to employees who are survivors of domestic violence or sexual violence, or in support of a family or household member who is a survivor. Reasons for taking leave may include seeking support services, relocating, obtaining legal assistance, or participating in court proceedings. Employers may request certain documentation of reason for leave, and must maintain the confidentiality of these documents.
