Mayor of Baltimore, Bernard C. “Jack” Young issued an executive order to secure hazard pay for first responders including firefighters, EMS providers and police officers. They will receive a $200 biweekly stipend during the pandemic, as well as a $100 biweekly stipend for other “mission critical” employees.
