STATUS: Enacted

This law extends sick leave to domestic violence survivors for reasons associated with that status.

This law requires employees to allow employees 40 hours of sick leave when they or their immediate family
members are victims of domestic violence, sex offenses, stalking or terrorizing. Reaons for using leave may include seeking support services, safety planning, and participating in court proceedings.
