Would have banned NDAs and prohibited the use of taxpayer funds in settlements related to sexual harassment by legislators.

The bill would have amended Title 46 (Legislature) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes. It would have applied to the Legislative branch and would have banned non-disclosure agreements in cases involving claims of sexual harassment. It also would have prohibited members of the PA General Assembly from paying settlement costs with taxpayer funds and would have provided other rights and protections to victims of sexual harassment or assault.
