The council’s measure will cover critical employees who are not working from home, including firefighters, police officers, public works employees, sanitation workers, City Hall cashiers, treatment plant workers and sewer infrastructure employees. Full-time employees will receive $200 every two weeks while those working on reduced hours will receive a proportional amount.
