Two Ways to Support Survivors, Women of Color, Essential Workers, and Families

Written by TeoSaragi

The first 100 days of the Biden-Harris Administration brings critical opportunities to change the course of this country. From passing new legislation to repealing or amending present executive orders, Equal Rights Advocates envisions a wide array of changes that will support women of color, essential workers, and families.

ERA believes in the collective power of our partnerships and coalitions to uplift our needs and voices to the new Administration. That’s why we’ve crafted a petition to the White House to submit 20 recommendations for executive actions in 4 categories:

  • Immediate COVID-19 and Economic Relief
  • Workplace and Immigration Reform
  • Child Care and Families
  • Civil Rights for Students

This petition is a concrete way for you to show support for working women and families, immigrants, and survivors. It’s also an accessible way to engage folks in your communities and networks.

Here’s how you can get involved:

  1. We invite you to sign the petition to the White House and circulate among your networks.
  2. For the next month, we invite you to use this social media toolkit for sample social media posts that outline the #First100Days #First100Vision campaign.
