The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services has approved Arkansas’ state plan amendments. This allows part-time workers a pay increase of $125 per week and full-time workers to receive $250 per week. The steering committee for these funds will also explore providing these bonuses to employees that do not work directly with the patients, but come in contact with contaminated items; such as janitors and other secondary contact employees.
