The bill would have required that domestic workers be paid whichever is the higher minimum wage: either that provided by ยง 34.a of Article II, or that provided by the Ohio Constitution or the Fair Labor Standards Act. It also would have required overtime wages for domestic workers and a weekly day of rest. It would have made certain conducts towards domestic workers an unlawful discriminatory practice.
