STATUS: Enacted

Revises law concerning family leave, temporary disability and family temporary disability leave, and domestic or sexual violence safety leave, and amends N.J. Stat. Ann. § 43:21-38. An employee shall be entitled to a family leave of 12 weeks in any 24-month period upon advance notice to the employer.

Employees are elegible to receive up to 12 weeks of family leave to care for new child (birth, adoption, foster); care for family member with serious health condition; and up to 26 weeks for own disability.
