This law bans employment discrimination on the basis of survivor status and requires employers to provide reasonable safety accommodations in the workplace.

This law bans employment discrimination on the basis of domestic violence survivor status. Employers may request certain forms of documentation to verify an employee’s survivor status, and may confirm this status every 6 months. Employers must also provide reasonable accommodations to employees who are survivors of domestic violence.
