This year, Equal Pay Day falls on Tuesday, March 12th, and it’s crucial to spotlight the ongoing issue of pay inequity faced by women across various demographics. According to the latest census data, women are still earning only 84 cents for every dollar earned by men in full-time, year-round positions. This disparity is even more pronounced when considering all earners, with women earning just 78 cents on average.
But we refuse to accept these gaps as the status quo. Raising awareness and taking action is our goal for every Equal Pay Day we observe throughout the year.
Here are 3 ways you can participate in raising awareness:
- Join the social media storm Tuesday, March 12 at 11am PT/2pm ET
